Best Holiday Lipsticks 2020

My Week In Lipsticks | Holiday Edition

It has been a minute since I’ve done a lipstick diary so I’m back for another one!

It’s Christmas Eve and I thought it would be the perfect time to share all the festive holiday lip products I’ve been wearing ––and plan to wear–– throughout the week. I’m aware masks are still a (very important) thing and we haven’t been able to wear lip products as usual. But, by now, I’m sure we’ve all found a loophole for wearing lipstick under our masks. Especially during the holidays.

That being said, let’s get straight into the lip products, shall we?

Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil In Endless Cacao

If you follow me on any of my socials, you know this is the only lip liner I reach for nowadays. This is why I’ve been wearing it every single day and I plan to continue wearing it every single day.

Because this is a cooler toned brown it acts as a contour for the lips and that just means this liner makes my lips look bigger. It goes with any lip product you put on top and it is so easy to use. The formula isn’t too hard or too soft so it just glides and blends perfectly. Everyone needs an Endless Cacao in their lives.

Ohii Lip Smudge in Scorpio

This is a classic lipstick in my collection cause it’s one of those my-lips-but-better products. That is why I’ve been wearing it a bunch this week.

Because it is a sheer formula it enhances my lips in a natural way and it almost looks like I’m not wearing any lipstick. It’s very comfortable to wear and easy to apply and reapply. Because it is a nude it goes with any look no matter how crazy. It’s a great lipstick to have on hand for those days when you don’t know what to wear.

Glossier Lip Gloss in Red

Because it is the holiday season, there’s gonna be a lot of red on today’s lipstick diary. Starting with this gloss by Glossier. The red in this gloss isn’t overwhelming so this was perfect for my more natural makeup days.

This is a super pretty gloss that makes my lips look juicy and gives them a subtle hint of color. It’s so thick that it actually moisturizes my lips –which I love– and it doesn’t fade as quickly as other glosses do. It’s one of those easy-to-throw-on lip products that you can wear by itself or on top of other products.

Glossier Generation G Lipstick in Zip

More Glossier products! This is my perfect holiday red this year and I’m definitely wearing it for dinner tonight.

This lipstick gives your lips that blotted/blurry look that’s very popular at the moment. It’s also quite sheer upon first application so it’s not one of those intimidating reds. The formula is matte but it isn’t drying or uncomfortable. And it layers well over lip balm if you need the extra hydration. The best part is, this lipstick is very easy to wear ––especially when you’re eating and drinking as much as one does during the holiday season.

Lime Crime Plushies In Cherry Soda

Another one of my favorite, more intense reds that is perfect for this time of year. I definitely wore this to a few small gatherings I had earlier in the week because this lipstick is perfect under masks.

You guys know I’m obsessed with the Plushies formula because it combines the look of a blotted lipstick with the longevity of a liquid lipstick. Even though this is a liquid lipstick and it dries down, it isn’t uncomfortable to wear and it doesn’t make your lips look crusty. It also layers perfectly over a balm. The fact that this is made to be sheerer gives the lips a very unique look that I love. You guys seriously need to try this formula!

And that’s what my holiday week in lipsticks looks like! What have been your go-to holiday lip products this week?

Thank you so much for reading!

Love always,

Isa ❤
