5 FUN HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOKS TO RECREATE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

5 Fun Holiday Makeup Looks To Recreate This Holiday Season

There’s nothing I love more than the holiday season. Good food, quality time with loved ones, and –of course- glamming up for holiday parties. And even though we might not get regular holiday parties this year, we can still play with makeup and get glammed, right?

I’m constantly looking for look inspiration so I figured I’d do a mini guide of awesome and easy looks that we can all recreate this holiday season!

I love the classic red lip and gold eyeshadow, but it’s fun to try new things. And there’s no better time to experiment than right now!

Glossy & Dewy

I love glossy lids all year round and the holiday season is no exception. They just make you look so cool and effortless. If you wanna make the look more festive you can add some gold or shimmery shadow to your lid with the gloss on top and add tons of mascara. Or you can keep it simpler. By keeping the rest of the face more natural, it allows the glossy lids to stand out.

If you’re in a time crunch or simply don’t want to spend much time doing your makeup, this would be a perfect look for you.

Monochrome Dusty Rose

One can never go wrong with a monochrome look. You can honestly go for whichever color you want, but I think dusty rose is a beautiful color on so many skin tones! This is another quick look you can do with minimal products or you can go super intricate and glam. It all depends on your makeup preferences and how much time you have.

If you’re feeling indecisive or don’t wanna think much about your look, you should go for monochrome makeup.

Glittery Lids & Nude Lips

Glitter is a holiday staple and while it can be a bit intimidating, there are ways to make it manageable. If you only want a hint of glitter, keep it simple by applying a light layer all over the lids. If you wanna go more glam, incorporate some glitter into your look. A natural base and nude lips help to balance the look out and keep the focus on the eyes. Plus nude lips are so easy to maintain, especially when you’re eating and drinking a lot.

If you’re feeling more experimental with your makeup, give this look a try! It can also make a great New Years’ look if you feel like it’s too much for Christmas.

Classic Red LIp

It’s good to experiment with makeup but sometimes all we need is a classic red lip and we’re good to go. A red lip is very versatile because you can pair it with any look –from super natural to super glam. You can also play with different lipsticks to get different looks. You can go with a sheer stain, with a gloss, or a pigmented liquid lipstick. Everyone can pull off red lipstick.

If you like sticking to the classics or aren’t feeling the holiday cheer at all, go for a red lip. There’s nothing wrong with sticking with what you know.

Colorful LIner

And opposite to red lips, we have colorful liner! This can sound a bit intimidating but, as always, you can totally make it your own. Pick a color that matches your outfit and just experiment. You can keep it very subtle with a bit of color on your waterline or you can go bold with a big colorful wing. Make sure to keep the rest of the face and lips more natural to make the liner stand out.

If you’re feeling experimental this holiday season, you must try a colorful liner at least once!

And there you have 5 fun holiday makeup looks you can easily recreate this holiday season. Which one’s your favorite?

Thank you so much for reading! I hope this post was helpful 🙂

Happy holidays,

Isa ❤
