Beauty On A Budget | Eye Edition

It’s time for a new Beauty on a Budget post! And this week I’m focusing on eye/eyebrow products.

Affordable eye products, for the most part, are of great quality. But there can be a few hits and misses here and there. So posts like this one can be very helpful to get a feel for what’s worth buying.

Check out my current favorite picks!

Milani Eyeshadow Primer

This is the only affordable eye primer that works for me. The formula is a mix between a creamy texture with a bit of silicone that dries clear. It’s a very easy primer to use, and eyeshadow blends like a dream on top of it. This also prolongs the wear of shadows and keeps them from creasing.

Colourpop Eyeshadow Palettes

If you ask me, Colourpop has the best affordable eyeshadows in the game. The quality is amazing and they come in a huge variety of colors and finishes. They also have a bunch of different palettes to choose from or you can create your own with single shadows. They have something for everyone!

Colourpop Super Shock Shadows

I couldn’t do this post without mentioning these shadows. They are the most unique eyeshadows I’ve ever tried. And while other brands have done some similar products I still find the Super Shock shadows are the best. They’re also extremely easy to use once you get the hang of them. And, in true Colourpop fashion, they come in many different colors and finishes so I guarantee everyone can find exactly what they’re looking for.

NYX Epic Ink Eyeliner

This is hands down the best affordable liquid liner I’ve found. It has a brush tip which is my favorite cause it makes the liner easy to use. So if you’re a liquid liner beginner I recommend this one. It has great pigmentation and great lasting power so it performs well no matter your eye shape.

Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara

There are so many amazing affordable mascaras that do different things so this was hard to narrow down. But ultimately Total Temptation won. If you’re looking for ‘natural volume’ this mascara is for you. It makes your lashes voluminous without clumping up and it never gets crunchy or spidery. And it’s easy to remove which is always a plus.

L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Definer

L’Oreal makes some of the best affordable brow products. And this pencil is perfect for all kinds of brows. The tip is small which makes it precise and easy to draw hair-like strokes. It’s also a bit waxy and that helps to control the pigment of the pencil so that you don’t go overboard with your brows.

elf Wow Brow Gel

Everyone raves about this brow gel online and everyone’s right! The formula is very nice because it doesn’t get crunchy but it sets your brows in place. It has fibers in it that fluff the brows up and gives them a bit of volume. Because this is a tinted brow gel you can use it by itself for a bit of color or set already filled-in brows.

Ardell Natural Lash in Black 120

I’m not usually into wearing falsies but, when I do, it’s always the Ardell Naturals in 120. Generally, affordable lashes are really nice quality but Ardell makes the best ones in my opinion. This style of lash is the easiest to apply because it’s a natural style. The band is clear so it’s easy to hide and doesn’t feel uncomfortable or pokey. And if you take proper care of them you can reuse them a few times!

And that concludes my favorite drugstore/affordable eye products! What are your favorite affordable eye products?

Thank you so much for reading! I hope this was helpful 🙂

Love always,

Isa ❤
