My Standout Beauty Products from 2019

Happy New Year babes!

For my first post of 2020, I wanted to reflect on the products I used during 2019. I tried and re-tried a bunch of beauty last year and I wanted to narrow down the products that stood out for me.

I narrowed it down to 8 products that I just couldn’t put down in 2019. No matter how many products came and went.

If you wanna know what said standout products are, just keep on reading!

The Products

Too faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer

I didn’t shut up about this for the whole year. And I know you have heard me talk about this concealer before. That’s also how I know it’s a standout product of 2019.

This baby swooped into my life, replaced my beloved Shape Tape concealer, and made me a better person. This just makes my under eyes look flawless and covered but never heavy. It layers well and it’s long-lasting. This will continue to be my #1 until –and if, something better comes around.

Charlotte Tilbury Holywood Flawless Filter

It took me so long to get my hands on this product but once I did, I didn’t put it down. You can totally tell too because the packaging is all rubbed off. I used this almost every day during the summer and fall months last year.

Since this is such a versatile highlighter I was able to reach for it to create different looks. My favorite ways to use it though, are either all over the face, as a super glowy and light base. Or as a subtle highlight on the high points of the face. Even though I’ve stopped using it every day, I know I’ll continue to reach for it this year.

Glossier Cloud Paints

I feel like these are a standout product every year because there’s nothing like them in my collection. And even though I’ve had them for a few years, I reached for them so much in 2019.

I love the formula of them because it’s very easy to use once you get the hang of it. A little goes a really long way and the pigment lasts so long on the cheeks. On top of that, Glossier nails it with the colors. I hope they come out with some new colors soon cause I don’t see these going anywhere in 2020.

Benefit 24-HR Brow Setter

I’ve raved about this brow gel in all of my social media so it was about time I talked about it on the blog. I got this product towards the end of last year but I’m featuring it because it changed my world. Literally.

This is the best brow gel I’ve ever tried. There, I said it. It makes my brows look fluffy and full, while still holding my brow hairs in place. It’s not crunchy or uncomfortable and it’s just unlike any other brow gel in the market. I’ll for sure keep it on heavy rotation this year.

Natasha Denona All Natural Biba Palette

Yet another product I didn’t shut up about last year. I’ve dubbed this the perfect neutral palette because it has every shade you need to create any neutral look you can imagine.

This was my everyday palette last year. I reached for it so much more than any other palette in my collection and that’s because it has all the shades I need daily. The shadows are also amazing quality and they’re so easy to use. This baby is staying in my collection forever.

Tom Ford Badass Mascara

This is possibly the greatest mascara I’ve ever tried. Possibly the most expensive as well. But it’s 100% worth the money.

This is such a unique mascara. The formula and the brush, work together to create magic on your lashes. When I apply this, my lashes look fake and I’m pretty sure it’s because the formula is on the drier side which helps the mascara to be clump-free. I could go on and on about this forever, but just know, the Badass Mascara isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Ohii Lip Smudge in Scorpio

2019 was my year of sheer lip products and the Ohii Lip Smudge in Scorpio was definitely a favorite. The formula is a lot like the Glossier Generation G formula so you know I enjoy it a lot.

This specific shade is a my-lips-but-better color so I reached for this endless amounts of times. I love how easy this is to apply and re-apply throughout the day and how it makes my lips look. I don’t hear a lot of talk about the Lip Smudges but I’m hoping that changes this year!

Flesh Hot Sauce Lip Gloss in 315

A lot of great glosses came out in 2019 and this one’s definitely a standout. I took it everywhere with me cause it’s the perfect nude to wear by itself or on top of other lip products.

The formula of these glosses is lovely. Very nourishing and glossy but not sticky at all. So, comfort all around. It has a light peppermint scent –that I love, and it gives your lips a baby tingle –which I also love. I might reach for many other glosses this year, but the Flesh Hot Sauce Lip Gloss will stay #1 in my heart forever.

And that’s a wrap on my standout beauty products of 2019! What were your standout beauty products of the year?

Thank you so much for reading babes!

Lots of love,

Isa ❤
