It’s review time, my dudes!
Today I’m reviewing a product that’s been around for a while but lately, everyone’s been talking about. I’m reviewing the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine lipsticks.
I bought 2 a few weeks ago cause I wanted to know what all the fuzz was about and try them for myself. I’m usually not a big fan of L’Oreal lip products but these surprised me in the nicest of ways.
Keep reading to learn why!
Just as the name suggests, these are shine lipsticks. That means they’re a glossy finish. These lipsticks are very comfortable on the lips because the formula is balmy, not sticky. So you get juicy, glossy lips instead of goopy lips.
These are traditional lipsticks and they will transfer and move around as the day goes by. Since they’re glossy they’re more prone to do that. It’s just the nature of the formula. But what they don’t do is bleed and migrate over time, which is very important with a formula like this.
Despite being a shine formula, these lipsticks pack a punch. I got a nude and a bold red, and they’re both equally pigmented. You don’t need more than one layer to get a super opaque color. And you can also sheer them out if you wish. They’re easy to manipulate.
One last thing I enjoy about these lipsticks is the scent. Usually, L’Oreal lip products smell bad (in my opinion) but these have a subtle scent that’s almost unnoticeable. Total score!
The fact that these are $9.99 is yet another score. Even though drugstore prices are going up, I think these are fairly priced for the amount and quality you get.
I also really enjoy the packaging. It’s see-through which makes it easy for me to know what color is inside the tube without having to open it. It’s sturdy and easy to take everywhere. And last but not least, it doesn’t look cheap.
I love these lipsticks and I think most people who try them, will too. If you have chronic dry lips, like me, I can’t recommend these enough. They’ll save your life while still looking chic. I might have to pick some more colors up, soon!
What about you? Have you tried the Colour Riche Shine lipsticks yet? If you haven’t, you really should.
Thank you so much for reading!
Lots of love,
