Every time a new season rolls around, our makeup routines change. It’s a very organic process in general. But sometimes we need a little nudge in the right direction to get that change started.
I’ve been having trouble letting go of my summer makeup routine. I know, we’re well into fall and I should forget all about summer. But it’s hard, ok?
That’s why I’ve been on the hunt for some beauty products that could help me transition my routine into fall. And I found some great ones for anyone who’s struggling with their fall routines, like me.
Check them out!
L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion
In my opinion, fall is the time to tone it down with the highlighter. Think subtle glow instead of super wet skin.
This product is perfect because you can use it to achieve many different looks. You can go for an all-over glow or you can use it as a subtle highlighter on the high points of your face. It’s very easy to use and it’s affordable.
Nars Inferno Eyeshadow Palette
Fall/winter is my favorite time to bust out all of my eyeshadows and create as many looks as I can. This palette is perfect for that.
There are a bunch of easy shades in this palette to create everyday looks with. And then there are a few beautiful pops of color that can amp up any look. I think the color palette is just perfect for fall and I love Nars shadows so this is a total win!
Milk Makeup Flex Foundation Stick
You know I’m not a full coverage gal but when fall rolls around, I like to add more coverage to my skin. That might have something to do with the fact that I like to do more elaborate looks this time of year.
This foundation by Milk is perfect for that because it has customizable coverage. Plus it’s a satin finish so it won’t make the skin look oily and it won’t make it look dry. It’s a perfect balance.
Jouer Cosmetics Blush Bouquet Dual Blush Palette
I don’t care what anyone says, blush during fall is an absolute must. I love stepping away from bronzer for a few months and blushing it up.
Jouer makes these beautiful blush duos that are exactly what I’m looking for. They have a few different colors and they’re all suitable for fall. They go with everything and they add dimension to the face without having to reach for a contour. These blushes are fall appropriate for sure.
Maybelline SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick
I tend to gravitate more towards a matte lip during fall. But I cannot stand liquid lipsticks anymore. I go for the more traditional route.
These new lip crayons by Maybelline are perfect because they’re matte and comfortable on the lips. Plus they’re long-wearing but they’re not liquid lipsticks! They also come in a bunch of colors and they have a few vampier ones that are perfect for this season.
Chantecaille Luminescent Eye Shadows
I’ve never really been one for Chantecaille products. But the minute I saw this shadow swatched, I knew I had to include it in this post.
Not only is this a great quality, luxury shadow. It’s also very easy to use. It’s perfect for one shadow looks or more elaborate looks. It’s such a basic shadow but the richness of the color and the subtle shimmer just makes it perfect for fall.
What other products would you add to this ‘fall transition’ list? Let me know in the comments!
