First Aid Beauty Tinted Moisturizer

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer | Review

Throughout the years I’ve slowly become a convert of light coverage bases. They’re easier to apply and I really enjoy the fact that my skin never looks cakey. Buh-bye full coverage!

My newest addition to my light coverage base collection is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer. I got a sample of this a long time ago but I’m just now getting to try out the real thing.

I don’t hear many people talk about this so I took it upon myself to inform you guys about everything there is to know regarding this product.

Before I start, I will say this tinted moisturizer was gifted to me by Pur Opulence (I’m a guest writer). But that will not influence my review at all.

Now, here’s what I think…

First up, let’s talk about the formula itself. It’s a luminous finish and it looks really natural on the skin. That means that this product has a light coverage but it evens out the skin tone. The texture of it is really thin and it sits very well on the face. You don’t even feel it throughout the day.

Since this is a luminous product it does have a shimmer component to it and it will leave your face looking very glowy. Once you blend it out and it dries down, the shimmer disperses. But if you’re not into looking really glowy, then this probably isn’t for you.

First Aid Beauty’s shade range is very limited, which sucks. But since the coverage is quite sheer, a few different skin tones can benefit from the same shade. That doesn’t excuse their shitty shade range though.

I’ve started incorporating this tinted moisturizer into my daily routine and I love it. It makes my skin look really healthy and plump and the shimmer kind of smooths my pores out . It’s weird but I’m definitely not complaining.

My skin’s on the oilier side and I can wear this without a problem. It doesn’t make me look greasy and it works well with powder. I also love the fact that it’s non-comedogenic because that means my pores will not clog up. Safe to say, I’m really into it!

The packaging is really standard for these types of products. It’s a squeezy tube and it’s very tiny so it fits everywhere. There’s 1 oz. of product inside and it’s $28.

In my opinion, it’s a bit overpriced for the amount of product you get but I have never tried another tinted moisturizer that gives me these results.

Overall I think this is a great product. It makes the skin look healthy and it’s perfect for everyday wear. If you’re a fan of looking dewy but you haven’t found a product to achieve that look yet, stop the search. You just found it!

Thank you so much for reading!

Lots of love,
