I feel like for a while there, everyone was obsessed with brow gels. Every brand was coming out with them and we were all just crazy for brow gel.
Wether you like it clear or tinted, brow gel is a staple in everyone’s routine. And after a lot of research, I’ve come to the conclusion that most people reach for the same 3 products.
Benefit Gimme Brow, Glossier Boy Brow and Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel. Those are the brow gels that everyone’s obsessed with right now and I happen to love all of them. But which one do I love most?
The Brow Gels
This one’s possibly the oldest of the three and it’s the one I’ve used the most. This product coats the brows beautifully without adding a lot of color. It doesn’t leave your brows feeling crunchy and it makes them look naturally fluffy. I like using this on its own but I love the look it gives when I mix it with other brow products.
The volume level on this brow gel is a 3/5. It adds enough to make your brows look great but it’s not out-of-this-world volume.
If you haven’t heard about Boy Brow, you’ve been living under a rock. This brow gel has got more of a ‘pomade’ consistency which helps fill in sparse areas in your brow. I prefer wearing this on its own since the formula is thicker than regular brow gels. And you don’t need an additional product since it fill in your brows nicely.
This brow gel doesn’t give you an extreme fluffy look but it is quite volumizing. I give it a 4/5 in volume level.
Ahh, the newest one of the bunch. I’ve only been experimenting with this for a few months but it’s made it into my favorites quickly. This brow gel has really intense pigment and it’s perfect to fill in your brows easily. It’s also really good at keeping your brows in place for long hours. Plus it has nourishing ingredients that are great for your brows!
I’d also give this a 4/5 in volume level because the fiber properties in this make the brows look fuller instantly.
It’s the moment of truth! Which brow gel do I like best?
This was not an easy decision because I truly love all three. But if I had to just live with one, I’d pick Benefit Gimme Brow.
It has been my go-to brow gel for over 4 years and I love how versatile it is. Never too much or too little product and I can use it on it’s own or on top of other brow products.
Now, just because this is my winner, it doesn’t mean it’s yours. And that’s fine! We all have different brows with different needs. Fortunately there’s something for everyone within these 3 amazing brow gels.
If you were to do your own version of brow gel wars, which brow gel would be your winner? Let me know in the comment section 🙂
Thank you so much for tuning in this week!
Lots of love,
