Finger Makeup

The Finger Edit

I’m well aware that the title of this post is kind of weird. Why are we talking about fingers if this is mainly a beauty blog? That’s a great question.

You see, we’re not really talking about fingers today. We’re talking about beauty products that you can apply with your fingers. So essentially we’re talking about makeup that you can apply without brushes or sponges.

These are obviously more natural, no-makeup makeup products that are really easy to just slap on and go. And today I want to share my favorites + my routine,  with you!

The eyes are the easiest out of the whole routine because they have the least amount of steps. I like a subtle, natural shadow to define my eyes and I love using cream shadows to achieve that, cause they’re extremely easy to blend. With my fingers of course. I also love super defined yet natural lashes so I like a mascara that’s not to extreme but at the same time adds enough volume and curl. My brows are thicc (as the kids would say) so the only thing I like to do is add a bit of bushiness and volume to them with a tinted brow gel.

For my complexion I use all cream products because I obviously can’t blend powder with my fingers. Or can I? Anyways I like a natural, even finish on my skin and I love using tinted moisturizers or BB creams to achieve that look. I also love the dew so I always blend some highlighter on the high points of my face to add it. I’m currently really into blush because it makes my skin look extra healthy so I also slap that on. Since I have combination skin I like to set everything with an oil-control setting spray as opposed to using a powder which would require a brush.

For the lips I could literally do anything because I usually don’t use an extra tool to put product on. But for this specific look I like to keep it somewhat monochromatic so I always go for something that matches the undertone of the blush. And I’m constantly rotating it so I don’t get bored.

And that’s it! No tools necessary.
