Desert Island Beauty Products

The Desert-Island Edit

This whole desert-island beauty concept aka. beauty products you can’t live without, seems fascinating to me. There’s just something so magical about loving a product so much you’d take it with you to a desert island. Then again you probably wouldn’t think of beauty products as the most important things to have if you were in said situation but let’s pretend for a moment that they are.

Beauty products come and go but there are some that stick forever and that’s how we identify our desert-island products. Our all time favorite beauty bits.

And these are mine!

For my complexion I’ve always loved a buildable coverage and Tarte Shape Tape gives me exactly that. I don’t wear foundation on an everyday basis so I always use concealer to manipulate my look. I also make sure to set it with the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. I’ve always loved bronzy skin and my Milk Makeup Baked Bronzer definitely gives me the best look. And since I’d never be able to live without highlighter, I have to throw my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop into the mix as well.

I am an eyeshadow palette fanatic but when it comes to choosing my favorite, Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance takes the cake every single time. It’s a versatile palette with great colors and it’s also my most used palette. Since I have naturally long and full lashes (#blessed) I love the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara for a full and lifted look. I’m not a huge fan of black liner but I do use my Colourpop Crème Gel Liner in Honeydude most days of the week so I’m throwing it in the mix. And of course I need my Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden to make sure my look lasts forever.

I also have bushy brows so the only product I’d take with me is my Glossier Boy Brow. It fills my brows in and it keeps them in place all day long.

Lips is definitely the hardest category for me because I have so many products to choose from. But if I’m being realistic I’d only take a few of them and most of them would be nudes. I’d definitely take my MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy cause it’s my most used and loved nude lipstick. I’d also take my Grande Cosmetics Hydrating Lip Plumper in Barely There cause my tiny ass lips definitely need it. And I’d also take my Hennè Organics Luxury Lip Tint in Intrigue for a deeper yet effortless lip look.

I know this is a bit extra for the desert-island beauty concept but I’m a makeup lover and I really can’t do much about that!

If you had to pick your desert-island beauty products what would they be and why?

See you next week babes!

Isa ❤
