It’s been a while since I did my last edit so, I’m bringing it back today! And this week is all about lazy day makeup.
We all have those days when we just can’t be bothered to do much. Days when we just want to be lazy and ignore responsibilities. And while a lot of those days are makeup free, (at least for me) there are times when I want to look alive and made up.
And that is when lazy day makeup comes into play.
To get a simple, even complexion I like going in with a lightweight concealer. I apply it everywhere that needs it and I blend it with my good old fingers. To brighten up the face and make myself look alive, I like to use some cream blush all over the cheek area. And I always add a bit of powder to the t-zone when I need it.
Now, the eyes are even simpler. I like to brighten them up with a bit of nude liner in the waterline and apply a few coats of mascara to transform the look. If I want a little something extra, I’ll go in with the blush and apply a bit to my lids. I also tame my brows with a tinted brow gel for a fuller look.
For the lips I love the whole fresh and glossy look so I like to go in with a lot of lip balm to give me that effect. It not only makes my lips look very juicy but it also nourishes them. Plus, it’s easy to touch up throughout the day.
These are my lazy day essentials:
RMS “Un” Cover-up Concealer in 22. Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk. Cover Fx Matte Setting Powder. Colourpop Crème Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Honeydude. Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara. L’Oreal Brow Stylist Boost & Set Brow Mascara in Dark Brunette. Kopari Lip Glossy.
What does your lazy day makeup look like?
Lots of love,
Isa ❤
Awesome tips and great post! One of my favorite things to do on lazy days is use my bronzer, and sometimes even blush, as eyeshadow. I also have Colourpop Honeydude–it’s so good for opening up the eyes!

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that these flatlays are so gorgeous! As a beauty blogger, I know how much effort goes into these seemingly effortless photos, so I just thought I would tell you how much I appreciate all of your hard work! The steps in this edit are very similar to my lazy day makeup routine as well, and the Glossier Cloud Paint and Kopari Lip Balm are definitely on my wishlist! Have a wonderful day! xoxo
