The Ordinary | A Brand to Follow

Unless you’ve been living under a ginormous rock, you’ve most definitely heard about The Ordinary. You know, that super cool and affordable skin care brand.

Today’s post is gonna be another installment of my series: A Brand to Follow. And the focus is obviously The Ordinary. I am dying to try out their products! Unfortunately I live in Guatemala so it’s a bit hard for me to get a hold of them:( So I resort to the next best thing, which is writing about them and wish they magically appear on my vanity.

What makes this brand different is their whole ‘philosophy’. They use the same active ingredients as other brands but they don’t add all the unnecessary ingredients that make high-end brands so expensive.

When you first come across their products, you might be confused. I know I was. The names are pretty scientific, so unless you’re a skin care expert, they might be difficult to understand. Fortunately their website is very detailed and they explain the purpose of each product in a way that’s easy to understand.

Their prices range from $10 – $20 and they are quite accessible products. I think the packaging suits the whole aesthetic of the brand it holds a big amount of product. Most of their line is skin care, but there are a few makeup bits as well.

Below are some products that I’d love to try from the brand:

The Ordinary Reviwq1. Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution  2. Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG  3. AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution  4. Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%  5. 100% Plant Derived Squalane  6. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5  7. Coverage Foundation  8. 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil

Have you guys tried The Ordinary products? What else do you think I should try? Make sure to let me know 🙂

Thank you so much for tuning in this week!

Lots of love,

Isa ❤

I love The Ordinary! My favorites so far are the 100% Cold-pressed Rosehip Oil, Niacinamide+Zinc Serum, and the retinoid serum–I’ve found all three products are really helpful for my acneic skin. I’d also like to try the Hyaluronic Acid 2%.
