Makeup Anti-Haul | What I’m Not Gonna Buy

Hey guys!

Today’s post is gonna be a bit different because it’s an Anti-Haul. An anti-haul is basically the opposite of a haul. So instead of sharing the things I bought, I’m gonna share the things I won’t be buying. I’ve seen quite a lot of people in the beauty community do this, so I decided to give it a shot.

When I first heard about this collab, I was ecstatic! When it came out, I wasn’t as ecstatic anymore. Don’t get me wrong, this palette is beautiful and I’m sure the quality is great. But the reason that I’m not buying it is cause I don’t feel like the shades suit me. They’re all to dark for my skin tone and I don’t wanna buy something I’m never gonna wear.

I love the Pro-Glow foundation by L’Oreal but when I saw they were coming out with this concealer something about it turned me off. I like my concealers to be full coverage cause my dark circles aren’t playing. And I feel like this formula is for people who don’t really need coverage and just want to brighten their under eyes. I’d rather invest on something that I know is gonna work for me.

I love Too Faced eyeshadow palettes and I own quite a few. But something about this particular one is telling me no. Like what am I supposed to do with it? I can’t create a full look using this and I’m not gonna be using glitter on my eyes on a daily basis. I think it’s a cool concept, but it’s just not what I’m looking for in a palette.

These palettes are some of the newest ish Maybelline has to offer. And they come in a ton of colors. The reason why I think I’m not gonna get any of these is cause I think there are other affordable shadows that are a lot better. Plus, I have so many other great palettes that I’d never reach for this, so what’s the point in buying it?
