Hey guys! Today we are talking about loose powder because it is, indeed, important. Even though it might sound like a super boring product is totally necessary to make our makeup look fab. So today I’m gonna be talking to you about one of my favorite loose powders and a dupe for the oh-so-famous Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.
The product that I’ll be talking to you about is the City Airspun powder, just in case you didn’t get that by reading the title of this post. But anyways let’s get on to reviewing.
I’ve been using this product for quite some time and I can honestly say, it is amazeballs!
The formula is really finely milled and it doesn’t feel heavy or caked when you set your face. It feels very lightweight but it keeps your makeup in place like it’s nobody’s business. I love this powder for baking because it does not make your under eyes look like the Sahara Desert and it gives you a bit of extra coverage.
One thing that I don’t particularly love about this product is that even though it claims it’s a translucent powder it does have a bit of color to it, but it doesn’t bother me much. It also has a really strong ‘grandma-y’ scent that doesn’t go away completely. These are just some things to keep in mind if you wanna try this out.
But my absolute favorite thing about this product is the price. This is a drugstore powder so the price ranges anywhere in between $5 – $15 depending on where you buy it. It’s a huge tub of powder and it contains 2.3 oz. of product so you’ll basically never run out.
If you’ve been wanting to get the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder but don’t have the budget for it you need this powder in your life asap. You’ll get a lot more for your money with this one.
Have you guys tried the Coty Airspun powders? Do you love them? Hate them? As always, make sure to let me know your thoughts in the comment section.
Thank you guys so much for tuning in! I hope you enjoyed!
Lots of love,
Isa ❤
